As we gathered to celebrate the birth of our Lord, Dahope Nursery & Primary School was blessed to share a humble Christmas meal with our children. This gathering was more than a meal; it was a profound reflection of the blessings of togetherness, compassion, and the hope we find in Christ.
In the spirit of Christian fellowship, we cherished the opportunity to extend God’s love to our students. By breaking bread together, we were reminded of the importance of nourishing both the body and the spirit, fostering a community rooted in the values of the Gospel.

We are delighted to share with you the story of Kabalasi Rogers, a young man of 15, who recently visited our camp. Like all our cherished visitors, we were thrilled to welcome him, but his visit was not just a passing one. He came with a deeper purpose — to inquire about a chance to study with us, for free.
Kabalasi had heard that we help orphans, and with great humility, he approached us, hoping for an opportunity to pursue his education. I am pleased to announce that we have admitted him into our program, with the belief that together, we can bring light and encouragement into his life.
Kabalasi is an orphan, born with the challenging condition of sickle cell anemia. His health is fragile, requiring regular medication and often forcing him into long periods of illness. This has unfortunately hindered his educational progress, often leaving him bedridden. Despite these challenges, his desire to study remains unwavering.
At 15, Kabalasi should be entering secondary school, but after speaking with him, we found that he is currently at a Primary 2 level. Nevertheless, he embraced this opportunity with joy and has joined the class with an open heart.
Our goal is to make Kabalasi feel at home here, surrounded by compassionate teachers and a supportive community. We hope that in time, he will find strength and resilience to face the hardships of life with hope and determination.
We humbly reach out to you, our extended community, to ask for your support. If you have the means to bring light, encouragement, or hope into Kabalasi’s life, we would be deeply grateful.
Thank you for considering being a beacon of hope for this young soul.
Meet 8 years old Emmanuel Ssempala, a destitute who lives in a small rural village of bukanobe , Kitukiro parish buyende.
His story is heartbreaking
and his face wears a look that tells it all.
Sadness and longing describe this young soul .
At years, he has never been to class in spite of his eagerness to learn.
His story is
tragic, filled, his late Father Ssemwanga Emmanuel was a native muganda who as a sojourner came to buyende to hustle on the shores of lake Kyoga Fate would arrive soon, his boat capsized, and he tragically lost his life . At the time, ssempa’s mother, a girlfriend Ssemwanga, was heavily pregnant carring ssempa. She gave birth a few days after the demise of the hubby.
Ssempa has never witnessed the blessing of a father, and misfortune would follow soon as his mother, too, died tragically in a motorcycle accident, leaving behind a 2 years old Ssempa.
With the absence of both parents,Ssempa hasn’t had the opportunity to attend school and is desperately seeking help to share camaraderie of school friendships and that sense of accomplishment that comes with attending school.
Every morning, he comes to attend class at our newly opened school, DA HOPE NURSERY AND PRIMARY SCHOOL.
With a tin of leftover foods , he hopes and feels if a charitable chance comes his way, maybe and just maybe, chance at a better life, His face carries the weight of his appalling reality that seem to stiffle the lively spirit within.
At 8, he feels it’s not late , he still possesses a chance , and the blessing of hope sustains him .
The transformational power of generosity and kindness can meet him at his point of need to escape his misfortune and have a chance to unlock his potential through education.

We have some really great news to share with you all! On August 6, 4, the Second Chance Foundation visited our campus and we are so happy to tell you that they will be sponsoring 70 children from our community. They are also going to help widows by teaching them business skills and giving them money to start their own businesses.
We also have some exciting plans for the future. We have expanded our land and we are going to build a new nursery and primary school called Da Hope Nursery & Primary School. We believe this will make a big difference in many people’s lives.

We are excited to share the success of our recent midyear charity party held on July 6th, 2024. At Daughters of Hope Ministries, we believe in being kind and helping others, and this event truly showed our commitment to serving those who need help.
See what happened in photos
Because it was hard for some people to get to one place, we decided to host the party at three places – Buyamba village, Kabukye village, and the Main Campus Kitukilo village. This way, more people could come and join in.
The gathering was really special because we were able to help:
200 Children
100 Widows
20 Orphans
We gave food to the children, spent time with the widows, and helped pay for school fees for the orphans – all thanks to your support.
This celebration would not have been possible without each one of you who helped us. Your support has brought happiness, food, and education help to those who need it. Every act of kindness makes a big difference.
As our founder Jean Peace Mountain said, “Thank you for being part of this caring effort. Together we are making a difference.”
Warm regards, Jean Peace Founder Contact: +256782095538
